# Internal Masonry Walls Not Properly Detailed

## Issue Description:
- Masonry walls including brick, Hebel and blockwork are all required to comply with the Structural Standards.
- They require various stiffeners and other connection details to restrain them from falling over.
- Architects often detail these walls on the drawings without consideration of these requirements.
- They are typically used on the ground floor of mixed use buildings as they are secure and achieve the necessary FRLs.
- Structural Engineers are required to document the construction details of all masonry walls on their drawings either with some typical details or exact details.
