# Rusting to Base of Door Jambs ### Issue Image: ![[Pasted image 20241121123452.png]] ## Issue Description: - Steel Door Jambs are often installed below the finished level of the tiles and in the screed. - If the screed gets wet, this can lead to rusting of the steel doo Jamb. ## Actions to Prevent this Issue: - [ ] Architect to check that the steel door jamb is finished about the Waters top angle at the door of the bathroom. - [ ] Builder shall also treat the base of the door jambs with Cold Gal Spray-paint to prevent rust.
