# Vented Dryers Cause Mould ### Issue Image: ![[Pasted image 20250203160830.png]] ## Issue Description: - Vented dryers are not suitable for apartments. - They are often provided because they are the cheapest dryer available to the developer. ## Actions to Prevent this Issue: - [ ] Check that the By-Laws include a rule prohibiting the use of vented dryers in Apartments. - [ ] Check that the Sales Contracts do not include reference to Vented Dryers. No Dryer is to be provided at all. - [ ] Check that customer are advised they will need to use a Heat Pump or Condenser Drier, these need to be mounded vertically one atop the other. Or Horizontally if their is space.
